Operating a ALB (aircraft loading bridge) often face many challenges in terms of safety and cost. Parking an actual plane for training could be costly when new trainees make mistakes. The VALBOT provides an immersive and complete experience for simulation ALB operations. It incorporates MR (mixed reality), using the motion platform to further enhance the driving experience of the ALB in the virtual world. Training and operation on the VALBOT is currently a requirement for the HK airport academy before being legible to take the license exam for ALB operations.
